Hilde Haakensen is a professional groomer and also shows dogs.

Meet Hilde Haakensen, a professional dog groomer with extensive experience in all breed specific cuts.  She has been grooming Show dogs for over 20 years and has won at some of the worlds’ most prestigious dogs shows. As a true dog lover and a breeder of Miniature Schnauzers, Hilde gives each dog personal attention and is very caring and gentle with your pet. It is important for her that all of her clients and their pets are happy with her service. She will provide guidance if asked, or follow the clients request to ensure the dogs health and comfort. Typically Hilde spends at least an hour or more on each pet and does not rush through her service. She also offers hand stripping for wire-coated breeds (request only).  In addition to the groom Hilde will clean out your pets’ ears, express the anal glands and trim their nails. Hilde is available for appointments on Tuesdays of each week.  We can also provide basic or medicated baths and dips for those pets that don’t require a trim on Monday through Friday.  Visit our Links page to see Hilde’s website for some incredible before and after photos.
